This English Basic Course will be given entirely in English. There will be training at the dog school on Tuesday ánd Thursday, so twice a week, and there will be an online theory part that you can watch in your own time. We believe you can be a better trainer for your dog if you also know a bit of animal behavior and communication. That is something we focus on in the theory parts. There is also room for personal questions about your own situation in the practical parts at the dog school. This will often be very interesting for the other owners too, because a lot of dog owners come across the same questions. A couple of the exercises that we will learn to you and your dog are the following:
– Pay attention to the owner while there are distractions
– Sit
– Sit and stay
– Down
– Down and stay
– Recall
– Heel
– Speak (will be explained in the theory parts)
– ‘No’ (will be explained in the theory parts)
This course is very suitable for young dogs but also dogs that are adopted or if you have an older dog with which you never trained before.
Please note: all the courses in 2026 will be 10 lessons in total instead of 11!

Starting information
In our English Basic Course the lessons will be on Tuesday ánd Thursday. So you will come to the school twice a week. The lessons at the dog school are around 45 minutes each and there will be time for you to ask some questions about your own situation or the problems you might encounter with your dog. There will also be an online theory part that you can watch in your own time. It will be 10 lessons in total, so the whole course will be finished in almost 6 weeks.
This course is also very suitable for dogs that are adopted or if you have an older dog with whom you have never trained before.
We have 2 groups, one at 19:00 and one at 20:00.
